Montjuic Park in Barcelona

I know that in Europe despite the many modern and fancy buildings, there are amazing parks. In fact I realized that in Barcelona the mountain park Montjuic is just an undisputed piece of the whole environment puzzle out there.
It carries the name “Jewish Mountain”, called after an important Jewish tomb that existed here in the Middle Ages. Above the Port you can reach this park which is only 213 meter higher. During 1929 the park was landscaped for the International Exhibition, when the Palau Nacional and the modern architecture Mies van der Rohe Pavilion were built. Later in the years this area transformed into a disused one and became a second-hand area. Hand by hand with the dark and gloomy shadow, cast over the hill by the castle, which during that time was Franco` slaughterhouse. Today it is one of the biggest attractions in Barcelona and a big draw also. If you are lucky, your vacation rental in Barcelona could have straight view.
Despite this, Montjuic got the accreditation to be used as a face lift where in fact were the Olympic Games during 1992. Lately it was turned into a marvelous green oasis, many sport facilities opened and outstanding museums established. All these elements are interconnected by a network of exterior escalators and interlaced with quiet, shady gardens, which offer dazzling views over Barcelona and a reviving respite from the bustle of the city. In fact the short term rentals Barcelona apartments make the picture even more bright and beautiful for the city guests.
